Holiday flats in the mountain world of Virgen in East Tyrol.

In the midst of greenery, quiet and picturesquely nestled in the mountains in Virgen/East Tyrol in the Hohe Tauern National Park area lies our home, Haus Christine Mariacher. Built in the inviting East Tyrolean farmhouse style with feel-good character.

Influenced from my earliest childhood to offer guests a holiday home, I rent out the top-equipped, cosy and comfortable 3 holiday flats with much love and commitment. Cordiality is my motto and many guests have become friends.

Whether young or old, hiking or climbing freaks, extreme mountaineers, as well as winter sports enthusiasts or simply enjoying the untouched nature, the choice of destinations is diverse and (almost) limitless. The same goes for the numerous places to stop for refreshments with typical East Tyrolean dishes. Conveniently located, therefore an ideal starting point for countless day trips.

If you want to forget everyday life, come to rest, recharge your batteries, then Haus Christine Mariacher in Virgen/East Tyrol is the right place for you.

Osttirol is easily accessible by car from all directions. You can use Google Maps to work out your route. Some routes include toll roads or mountain passes. From the north you can reach Osttirol via the Felbertauern Road, a toll road that is open all year round. The train travels through the Tauern tunnel, between the Gastein valley and the Möll valley. The Plöcken Pass leads to Osttirol from the south. The Staller Saddle Pass and the Grossglockner High Alpine Road are only open during the summer.
